10 Years of Shadowbright

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I started Shadowbright! At the time, I had just finished maternity leave and had been made redundant, so I decided to pursue my passion for making lampshades.

This is one of my first lampshades and I absolutely loved it. I still have one of these in my house.

A lot has changed over the past decade. In the beginning, I sourced fabrics especially retro designs and bold colours. A couple of years in, I started designing my own patterns, allowing me to create unique lampshades with my geometric and retro inspired prints.

This is one of my first designs that I listed as a lampshade. I clearly love yellow. This is one of my bestsellers and I have listed it in different colours every year.
